endmill

i was astounded to come across this endmill during my evening travels this weekend.  apparently it was purchased (price: $10) from the Boeing surplus store in Seattle.  its owner wasn't sure if the physical store was still operational, but i see that Boeing does maintain an online shop, which is full of fascinating military/industrial/institutional waste like these locking file cabinets.

Regardless, this thing would cut some metal if only you would let it.

Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government's purposes are beneficent. Men born to freedom are naturally alert to repel invasion of their liberty by evil-minded rulers. The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding.
